It’s a chance to come together as an ecosystem - to celebrate what we've built, connect and build relationships, share stories, and take a real step forward in collective decision-making.
Together we'll vote on the social enterprise national strategy and confirm the appointment of three new Directors.
This is a moment to connect and help shape what comes next.

What to expect
Welcome and connect - Meet and reconnect with Members from across the country.
Social enterprise national strategy - Hear about and discuss the draft updated national strategy - for an economy that puts people and planet first, and to unlock the power of social enterprise together. The strategy is sector-owned. Hundreds of people across our ecosystem - many with lived experience - helped shape it through six workshops and two surveys. This vote is the final step in the co-design process, and the start of acting on it together.
Vote - Social Enterprise Members vote on the national strategy and Director appointments.
Impact slam - Share a moment when you knew your work was making a real difference - in a fun, creative way. You may choose a one-minute spoken word piece, a quick skit, a song… whatever lights you up! We'll share some examples and inspiration in the lead-up so you can come prepared - or simply enjoy the show.
All Members have a voice in our organisation and are invited to Member Meetings. Social Enterprise Members have voting rights.
Formal business
Two resolutions will be put to Social Enterprise Members:
Adoption of the national strategy - a resolution to adopt and endorse the national strategy as tabled at the meeting: read the strategy here.
Confirmation of Director appointments - resolutions to confirm the ongoing appointment of Rona Puntawe, Todd Nelson and Tom Grosskopf: view their profiles here.
How voting works
Voting will be conducted via anonymous Zoom poll, so members can vote freely and without social pressure. The Chair will declare the result of each resolution, which will be recorded in the minutes.
Can't attend? Voting Members can appoint a proxy - forms must be received by 27 April 2026, 12:00pm AEST.
A quorum of at least 30 per cent of our voting Members must be present for voting to proceed:
If quorum isn't reached within 30 minutes of the start time, the meeting will be adjourned to the same time the following week.
