xHalEvents: events for mob, by mob
Tikesa Hale created her Northern Territory business xHalEvents to fill a gap she saw in the market - events for mob, by mob.
A proud Luritja and Wuthathi woman, she provides culturally enriching event management with a focus on developing First Nations people, including students and young workers.
”We handle everything from large forums with over 500 attendees to free community gatherings. Every event benefits from our distinctive creativity and strong connections to the community,” Tikesa says.
Her journey with Impact North’s Business Builder program empowered her to grow xHalEvents through support and mentoring, and connection to other First Nations entrepreneurs.
Now, as a Member of Impact North Community and Social Enterprise Australia, she’s connected to broader networks and opportunities across the Territory and nationally.
”Being a Member of Impact North Community strengthens the business in meaningful ways, and aligns with our shared vision for culturally grounded, community led events services,” Tikesa says.
”Being a Member of Social Enterprise Australia is a key link to connecting with others nationally, to support our growth and future plans.”
People and organisations in the Northern Territory and three states can apply to join their state/territory peak and Social Enterprise Australia in one application at no extra cost.
